Langu co-founders Agnieszka Nowicka and Travis Wentworth.
It started with a very
personal reason to learn.
Langu was founded by Agnieszka Nowicka and Travis Wentworth, who met while studying at Oxford. The idea grew from their own experiences learning languages — including Travis’s search for a Polish teacher.
Their aim was simple: make it easier to find a good teacher and learn together, wherever either person lives. That remains the idea behind Langu today.
Agnieszka “Aga” Nowicka
Co-founder & Head of Education
Aga holds a master’s in Applied Linguistics from the University of Oxford and has taught English in London and Poland. Alongside postgraduate study at UCL, that experience informs her leadership of Langu’s teaching approach and learner experience.
Travis Wentworth
Co-founder & CEO
Travis’s background spans journalism, marketing and consulting. His work at Langu connects the business and product sides of bringing learners and independent teachers together.
